For his first film in front of and behind the camera – the Schlockthropus, that's him! –, filmmaker John Landis ( The Blues Brothers ) delivers a hilarious parody of monster movies. A playful nod to the great classics of the genre ( King Kong , Frankenstein , Beauty and the Beast ). Schlock is an unclassifiable comedy that flirts with the grotesque and the absurd. A great little-known film from cinema bis, to discover for the first time in its superb 4K restoration!
