A reflection on the cinema (the "whore" of the film), on the capture of reality and on the spectator's unconscious, Take care of the holy whore is part of a wave of films on cinematographic creation, in the same way as Le Secret of Veronika Voss. Largely comparable to Fellini's 8 ½, it is also seen as the one that radically changed Fassbinder's career.
