Thanks to the archives deposited by André Sauvage's family and the research and reconstruction work carried out by Béatrice de Pastre (deputy director of cinematographic heritage and director of collections at the CNC) with the support of Éric Le Roy (head of the Access, promotion and enrichment of the CNC's collections), The Cinematographic Adventure of the Yellow Cruise compiles André Sauvage's precious travel notes in the form of correspondence that the filmmaker sends to his wife Alice. A veritable logbook illustrated with two rich notebooks made up of photos and exclusive archives, this 396-page book offers an atypical travelogue, like the prodigious Yellow Cruise expedition.
