Jerzy Skolimowski's 1st masterpiece for the 1st time on Blu-ray and DVD!

A 15-year-old teenager, Mike has just been hired in a public bathhouse in London's East End. His colleague Susan is in charge of introducing him to the place. The young man is immediately attracted to this pretty redhead older than him. As he discovers a strange atmosphere around the pool, Susan plays with the boy's inexperience, taking advantage of his candid admiration to send him into a dangerous spiral of fantasies and obsession...

Under its appearances of outrageous comedy or joyous hazing, Deep End conceals a cruel drama of adolescence. With a bewildering sense of plastic composition, Jerzy Skolimowski ( Essential Killing ) follows the wanderings of a boy haunted by the image of an elusive love. Crossed by the music of the seventies (from the folk-pop of Cat Stevens to the experimental rock of the group Can), Deep End is one of the most emblematic films of independent cinema.
