Fassbinder, who also stars in one of the leading roles) and Notre-Dame de la Croisette, he creates a triptych where artifice, melancholy, and a critical eye on the world of entertainment dominate. Through these films made between 1974 and 1981, the Swiss director asserts a cinema of masks and memory, where visual refinement reveals a deep meditation on disappearance and representation.
